★★★★★ Hex Warriors is essentially a re-skin of Uniwar. That doesn't mean it's a bad game. I'd argue that it is accommodating to be able to play the same game in a different skin. Not everyone likes the futuristic style. Besides, that witch skin really drew me in!

★★★★★ Hex Warriors (aka Age of Ogres) is, so far, essentially a beta version for the app "Uniwar", which is rated at a 4.4 with thousands of active players, as opposed to low double digits for this application. Due to the lack of players to play with, if you don't know of Uniwar, I highly recommend that you try that instead. According to the developer, this app is intended to diverge farther from Uniwar with time. If you have progress on Uniwar, you can PM pashaka to get it copied here.

★★★★★ It's cool! Not quite as mental as chess, but very neatly thought out in a retro Thunder cats cartoon kind of casual war gaming kind of way....

★★☆☆☆ This is a direct clone of the game UniWar by the same developer just with different graphics. It even allows you to log in to your UniWar account and keep playing your same games that you're in. the new graphics make it hard to distinguish the different units I feel though. Too many colors. And the terrain is also harder to distinguish. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is fantastic, but why would I play this and not UniWar? I'm not a fan of this project.

★★☆☆☆ Literally unplayable. When I try to play the campain I am able to move units, but you cannot attack, so you can't even progress. Even custom games don't seem to work (the AI never attacks either). Don't download it is not worth your time till the devs fix this.
