Use voice control to open apps, make calls, answer calls, play songs, or lock your phone instantly. WHAT YOU CAN SAY
Open apps: Say the app you want and Hey Buddy opens it instantly using voice control. It also works as a voice launcher and app launcher for faster access to your favourite apps.
Make calls: Tell Hey Buddy who to call. Use it as a voice dialer, voice caller, and call assistant to place calls completely hands free.
Answer calls: Pick up incoming calls using your voice when your hands are busy.
Play songs: Ask for a song and Hey Buddy plays it for you.
Lock your phone: Say your custom phrase and activate voice lock. A secure voice screen lock immediately covers your current app.
VOICE SCREEN LOCK
Record a custom lock phrase once and use voice lock any time to lock your phone.
Unlock using your personal voice unlock phrase or your secure 4-digit backup passcode.
Before saving your phrases, Hey Buddy shows exactly what it heard so you know your voice recognition will work correctly.
Voice lock cannot be enabled without setting a backup passcode, helping prevent accidental lockouts.
The screen lock securely covers every app. The Back and Home buttons cannot dismiss it.
Your backup passcode always works whenever voice unlock isn’t practical.
SET UP IN MINUTES
Turn on Hey Buddy and allow microphone permission.
Enable “Display over other apps” so the voice screen lock can appear above your apps.
Choose two or three words for your lock and unlock phrases.
Grant additional permissions only for the voice actions you want to use, such as making calls or answering calls.
LOCK AND UNLOCK IN YOUR OWN LANGUAGE
Your lock and unlock phrases can be spoken in any language supported by your phone’s speech recognition service, including Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia and Bangla.
YOUR PRIVACY COMES FIRST
Hey Buddy never uploads your lock phrase, unlock phrase, or passcode. Your passcode is securely stored on your phone in hashed form, while speech recognition and voice recognition are handled by your device’s built-in speech services. Your personal voice data stays on your phone.
