Hidden Camera Detector

Hidden Camera Detector – Find Hidden Cameras

Hidden Camera Detector helps you check rooms for potentially hidden cameras and recording devices using three tools: a Magnetic Detector, Infrared Lens Finder, and Wi-Fi Network Scanner.

Use the app to inspect hotel rooms, Airbnb stays, changing rooms, offices, and your home. Each tool uses a different method to help you identify potentially suspicious devices.

3-in-1 Hidden Camera Detection Tools

🧲 Magnetic Detector

Use your phone's magnetic sensor to check for unusual magnetic field changes around objects such as mirrors, electrical outlets, clocks, and smoke detectors. A sudden change may indicate a magnetic object or electronic component nearby.

📷 Infrared Lens Finder

Scan your surroundings through your phone's camera to look for small bright reflections that may indicate a camera lens. Dim the lights and use the exposure boost and flashlight controls to help inspect suspicious areas.

📶 Wi-Fi Network Scanner

Scan your Wi-Fi network to see connected devices. Review devices such as phones, DVRs, NVRs, and other network equipment to identify anything unfamiliar. The scanner flags suspicious camera-like ports and clearly labels your own device and router.

How to Check a Room for Hidden Cameras
Scan the Wi-Fi network: Review connected devices and look for anything unfamiliar.
Check for camera lenses: Dim the lights and scan mirrors, vents, decorations, and other suspicious objects using the Infrared Lens Finder.
Use the Magnetic Detector: Slowly sweep around suspicious objects and check for unusual magnetic field changes.
Combine the tools: Use all three detection methods and physically inspect suspicious areas for a more thorough room check.
Your Privacy Matters

Hidden Camera Detector processes camera frames, sensor readings, and scan results locally on your device. This information is not uploaded, stored on a server, or shared with anyone.

Important Information

Hidden Camera Detector is a detection aid and cannot guarantee that every hidden camera or recording device will be found. Results from magnetic sensors, infrared lens inspection, and network scans may be limited by your phone's hardware and the environment.

Not every unfamiliar network device or magnetic field change indicates a hidden camera. Some cameras may not be connected to your Wi-Fi network or may not be detectable using these methods.

For the best results, combine the app's tools with a careful physical inspection. If you suspect unlawful surveillance, contact local authorities.
