*** Important: Samsung Galaxy S3 -> Samsung prevent the 3rd party access to nearly all firmware functions within the latest firmware versions(e.g.BLG6, LG8 etc.) ***
*UPDATE 2.1: Added shortcut ICS Rocket Launcher!
*UPDATE 2.0: Since version 2.0 you can manage your device specific or carrier specific (USSD) codes or just use the custom code tab as your simple, hidden, non-sync phone book.*
This Version is optimized for SAMSUNG devices (especially Galaxy S2) with Touchwiz interface. (Sorry, Nexus S users).
Because of the nature of these hidden features, there will be no guarantee that every feature will work on every Samsung device. This version was excessively tested on the Galaxy S2 with Android 2.3.3, but also works on all Android devices with at least Android 2.1.
Non-Samsung device (and Nexus S/ Galaxy Nexus) users can try to use the functions within the “Pure Android” Tab, but there will be no guarantee that this will work. (As mentioned, depends on your firmware!)
-> OR you can try the new "Hidden Features FREE ICS Edt."!
There is no way to know, if these hidden features will be available at your device, so just try it out!
Features (highlights):
* Samsung LCD Test + Quick Test Menu
* Data Usage Status
* Manage own codes -> device/manufacturer/carrier(USSD) specific
* Phone Lock Starus
* OTA Firmware Menu
* Change Browser UserAgent
* HSDPA/ HSUPA Menu
* RF/ Base Band Menu
* System Dump Menu
* Android Info Menu (including disable GSM)
* GTalk Monitor
* Show Android ID
* and many more ...
Every function (except Android ID) can be started manually, e.g. via “hidden code” input (→ try for example: Dialer: *#06# for IMEI).
Permissions:
FREE Version:
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE → only for admob ads
"CALL_PHONE" → only for USSD codes (new since 2.0)
PRO-Version:
"CALL_PHONE" → only for USSD codes (new since 2.0)
With this App you can easily access the hidden features of your mobile device, but keep in mind that these features are not designed for public use. So there will be no official support for any of these functions. Please also be carefully and only click buttons and use function you understand (especially within the configuration and development section).
HINT: Please download the free version first, and check if hidden features are available on your phone.
ENJOY!
