Description by Nullptr(from Google Play)
Although it's bad practice to detect the installation of specific apps, not every app using root provides random package name support. In this case, if apps that use root (such as Fake Location and Storage Isolation) are detected, it is tantamount to detecting that the device is rooted.
Additionally, some apps use various loopholes to acquire your app list, in order to use it as fingerprinting data or for other nefarious purposes.
This module can work as an Xposed module to hide apps or reject app list requests, and provides some methods to test whether you have hidden your app list properly.

This is one of the best application ever salute to the developer for stoping notorious apps spying into users data.

Works perfectly as intended, I use it to block YouTube from being auto-updated by play store and to hide Magisk from my banking apps.

Whinnie doesn't know what they're talking about. The 5 start reviews are from people who actually understand what the app is and how it works. It doesn't remove apps from your home screen. It is meant to prevent apps that scan installed apps from seeing apps you don't want them to. Don't leave a bad review because you don't understand how something works.

🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐 Did not hide root properly🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐but why??? Is any other method to hide root properly? My game is still detecting the root problem how to fix magisk hide root is not working And your hide my app list apk also did not work😭😭😭

Besides not working for my bank apps, the interface is very unintuitive and hard to navigate. The settings also glitch in and out and there's no visual indication of what the app is doing or if something is loading, so sometimes you can only know what the status of an app is by going back in and out of a menu or restarting the app. It feels like an alpha or early beta with how many bugs I've encountered.
