Hide Secret Messages

Hide secret text inside an ordinary message, then share it through any app. The recipient pastes the complete text into Hide Secret Messages to reveal what is hidden.

HIDE A MESSAGE

Write the cover text people will see and the secret text you want to hide. The app places the secret inside the cover using invisible text characters while keeping the visible message readable. A detectability indicator helps you choose enough cover text before sharing.

SHARE AND REVEAL

Copy the result or send it with Android's share menu. On the Decode screen, paste the full message to reveal the hidden text. The app can recognize a compatible message on your clipboard and suggest it for faster decoding.

OPTIONAL CONTROLS

• Add a secret key that the recipient must enter.
• Set an expiry time after which the hidden message cannot be revealed.
• Choose how invisible characters are distributed through the cover text.

LOCAL HISTORY

Encoded messages are saved in an on-device history so you can search, copy, share, decode, or delete them later. You can protect the History screen with biometric authentication on supported devices.

PRIVACY, CLEARLY STATED

Message encoding and revealing are performed on your device. The app does not send your message content to a messaging server. The app contains advertising, which requires internet access and may process device or app information according to the privacy policy and Google Play Data safety section.

IMPORTANT

The recipient needs Hide Secret Messages to reveal compatible hidden text. Send the entire generated message: removing part of it may prevent decoding. This app handles plain text only.

Privacy Pro is here — one payment removes every ad, forever. No subscription.

Your saved history is now encrypted on your device using Android's secure keystore, so messages are never stored as readable text.

Also in this update:
• New passwords require 8–128 characters for stronger protection
• Older messages with short passwords still decode normally
• A clear recovery option if history can't be opened
• Backups turned off, so your secrets never leave this device
