As someone who tends to prefer anime that isn't necessarily "trending" or widely popular, I find this service to be a good alternative to Crunchyroll. While I still utilize Crunchyroll, I also appreciate what this service offers. For example, I don't like to Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer, or Fairy Tail. I believe that popularity doesn't inherently dictate whether one should watch something, even if it's frequently presented. If a series doesn't capture my interest in 5 episodes I drop them.

I love the unique selection, BUT you need to sand down the corners of the rough draft. Make autoplay a thing. I just downloaded and finished my first episode on your app and it didn't autoplay the next episode. That needs to change. Im not trying to go to settings about anything let alone autoplay. Love the library tho, there isn't even a next episode button. PLEASE FIX THIS. That next episode button erythang. Only reason im here is because an entire server building burned

I think it is fair to say that the service is quite good. Not as some users said that they encountered extreme difficulties to use. It's either they don't give a second chance and never return or hate the company too much. The app will record your watching progress, no issue with loading videos, the subs are embedded. Plus, you could select 1.5x speed, and it can remain a small picture in picture. The service has definitely improved from listening to the customers' feedback.

They don't suck, but the app does. Can't watch shows with subtitles because the subtitles don't appear when watching on phone

Hi dive sucks... literally the only other paid anime specific site apart from Crunchyroll in Australia and it SUCKS. BUGGY AS HECK. CHARGED ME YESTERDAY FOR MY ACCOUNT AND IT WON'T LOG IN SIGNED UP WITH SAME EMAIL AND IT LET ME SO THEY DELETED MY ACCOUNT AND STILL CHARGED ME FOR IT. I LOST MY PROFILE AND EVERYTHING. Will NOT be signing up again for this... not even worth $9 a month.

App only works the US. So I paid a yearly subscription and just watched it while having a VPN on. Now they updated it, so I can't use hi dive while having a VPN on. So I can't use it on the app or website. And then they complain about piracy.
