Hisscapes – Snakes and Ladders with Moving Snakes!
Welcome to Hisscapes, the ultimate reimagining of the Snakes and Ladders game for today’s mobile generation. If you grew up rolling dice, climbing ladders, and slipping down snakes, you’ll love this fresh twist on the classic.
Unlike other snake and ladder games on the Play Store, Hisscapes introduces a feature no one else has: moving snakes. Instead of staying in one place, snakes shift across the board after every round, turning every match into an unpredictable adventure.
With multiple board sizes, two distinct gameplay modes, and fun multiplayer options, Hisscapes is designed for families and friends who love a challenge.
Why Hisscapes is Different from Other Snake and Ladder Games or Chutes & Ladders?
Most Snakes and Ladders apps are the same: roll the dice, move your token, climb a ladder, or slide down a snake. Fun, yes, but predictable.
Hisscapes changes the rules:
Moving Snakes - A world-first twist where snakes don’t just sit still. They slither across the board after each round, hunting players down.
Two Game Modes -
Classic Mode: The traditional Snakes and Ladders board game experience.
Moving Mode: New-age fun where snakes change position, making every roll suspenseful.
4 Unique Boards - Choose from 36, 56, 80, or 108 squares depending on how long you want your game to last.
Fun Pets as Tokens - Choose from lively tokens that jump, cheer, and celebrate your moves.
Play with your Friends - Send invites to your friends and play on private boards.
Play Your Way - Enjoy multiplayer, pass and play, or go solo against the computer.
Online and Offline - Challenge players worldwide or play offline anywhere.
Every game feels new, exciting, and full of surprises.
The Origins of Snakes and Ladders
The Snakes and Ladders King board game is one of the oldest and most beloved board games in history. It originated in ancient India as a game called Moksha Patam.
Ladders represented virtues like honesty, kindness, and hard work.
Snakes symbolised vices such as greed, anger, and laziness.
The goal was not just to win, but to learn moral lessons on life’s journey.
The game travelled to England in the 19th century and became known as Snakes and Ladders. In the United States, Milton Bradley adapted it as Chutes and Ladders in 1943.
Today, it’s enjoyed by millions as one of the most popular family dice games in the world. With Hisscapes, we’re honouring this tradition while adding a modern twist: moving snakes, dynamic boards, and thrilling online multiplayer.
