Great for emergency notices from Honolulu City/County : Tunnel closures, water/waves over highway, road closures., dangerous areas to avoid, Weather alerts, Tsunami alerts

This app is not a good Nile replacement. Nile worked fine but this app does not text or alert at all. The app specifically stated that there will be no text notifications so no live alerts. Twitter is probably a better option if you are going to have to open the app anyway. We need to know without asking that there is a water main break, traffic blockage, tsunami alert, storm alert, missile launch, etc. AND YES!! MY NOTIFICATIONS WERE ALL CHECKED.

I no longer receive push notifications, have to open the app to read them so seems kind of useless now. Double-checked all of my settings and notifications are turned on for all types of alerts as well as authorized on my device yet nothing.
