I've never used an esim service before this one, but I had absolutely no problems with getting service when I landed at my destination. It is a little bit pricey but maybe because I opted for the unlimited data, but it came in extremely useful for getting around and doing anything that needed internet.

I used Holly for 14 days in China. Mobile data was acceptable, though the connection dropped intermittently. Hotspot was extremely unreliable and often blocked after only ~300 MB. Support replaced my eSIM twice and once said they had reset my hotspot quota, yet the problem was unresolved for the last 5 days. Worse, they insisted I had used 1 GB of hotspot data when my phone showed less than 0.5 MB. Very disappointing support and pretty much no hotspot service.

The worst eSIM—horrible internet connection and very expensive compared to other providers. You're better off getting Lyca or T-Mobile.
