I decided to buy Devolo Smart Home controller for a number of reasons. First Devolo have a good reputation and track record for their Power line kit. My top reason however was because they have a Web Portal as well as an App. The Web portal is much easier to set up complex rules over using an App on a small Smartphone screen. The app works very well-to-do things like alter temperature settings on the fly.

Ok I have been using this product and app since April. So far I have had some trouble setting up devices, but everything is working now. Help by email was actually pretty good. I use water heater controls, a window sensor and a power meter/outlet for a nightlight. The new Sunrise and Sunset features are great. Schedules work in spite of devices going offline a bit too often. Today I added a Philips Hue bridge, and it took about 8 tries to detect but when it did, all lights became like Devolo devices. This was not clear in the advertising. Guys - make this clear in your ads! I even can dim a light that won't do so from the Hue app!

Sorry, but seriously Germans should stick within the mechanical industry. What else do you need to accept the reality? There is no such thing as zero stars or negative stars. Devolo (devil?) products are the worst IoT l ever owned.

Was good, but Google Play refuses to install it on a device with Android 14 saying, that this app was developed for a too old Android version :(

Absolutely useless, trying to create account really difficult wouldn't accept my email, had to scroll through 400 screens to add my d.o.b. Just gave up !!!!
