The dev did a nice job. Obviously, Lovelace provides a more customizable interface. But this is entirely functional. Just add: http: api_password: Password to your 'configuration.yaml'. Also, it won't run on https for me. But this may be possible if you've got https set up on your system (I've just gotten started ;) ) Of course, insert your password for the generic 'Password' entry I used. You guys aren't allowed to know my password. It's "Secret". Just kidding, it's not "Secret" but it's secret. xD

http: api_password: !secret api_ password Add that to your configuration.yaml to be able to log in using legacy method. Also done forget to add your password to the secret.yaml file or learn how to use that feature! This is really good app once you are able to log in. All the 1 stars given to this app because they can't log in, and in their defense the app description has no direction or the developer haven't respond to any single of the reviews to help resolve the issue. Hope that helps.

Amazing!! The app could have more features like community login and browsing And a repository of of the community written and video tutorials. I have done the is the past with Aruba Networks. I'd love to build your community with a passion in your product. I'm a Wireless Engineer and a Community manager. Please contact me if you are interested. I am working on some tutorials and things.
★★☆☆☆
Does not have a username field on the logon screen, therefore you cannot login.
★★☆☆☆
The login screen allows me only to enter my URL and password. There is no option to enter my username. So I cannot login to my HomeAssistant. Please update this or tell me what I might be doing wrong, and I will be happy to re-review this.
★★☆☆☆
Can't log in to my hassio instance to try it. Front page asks for URL and password, but not username. Even adding it to the URL doesn't work.
★★☆☆☆
app does not work now due to usng the legacy auth api of hass. could some one fix it? it should not be hard to upgrade to use the new api of username password authentication
