Homeschool Planner & Records

Homeschool Planner & Records is a homeschool lesson planner, attendance tracker and hours log in one app. Plan lessons for each child, check them off every day, and keep the homeschool records your state asks for, from attendance logs to transcripts. It works offline, with no account and no sign-in.

LESSON PLANS FOR EVERY CHILD AND SUBJECT
Give each subject its weekly schedule and minutes per lesson, and it appears on Today automatically. Plan a unit by numbering its lessons or pasting their titles: the lesson plans are laid out one per school day of that subject, skipping weekends and breaks. Enter how many lessons a book has and see when you'll finish it. Missed a day? Bump moves the planned lessons forward.

FAMILY SUBJECTS FOR SIBLINGS
Teach a subject to several children together, like a morning basket, and check it off once for everyone.

CHECK OFF THE HOMESCHOOL DAY
Today shows each child's lessons. Check them off and their minutes are logged, or time a lesson as you go. A sick day excuses the day and moves that child's lessons forward. Log field trips, co-op classes or music practice for one child or several at once. Add a photo of the work and a note about the day.

HOMESCHOOL ATTENDANCE AND HOURS THAT COUNT THEMSELVES
A school day counts as soon as learning is logged. Mark days present, half day, absent, excused or a day off, set an optional daily minimum, and add breaks to your homeschool schedule. Track hours by subject, core hours and core hours at home, the way Missouri counts them. Start from state requirements presets for all 50 states and DC, each linked to the state's law, and a pace projection shows when you'll reach your goal. Starting partway through the school year? Add the days and hours already done. State information is a general guide, not legal advice; always check your state's current rules.

GRADEBOOK AND REPORT CARDS
Grade work as a percentage, a score like 18/20, or a letter. The gradebook keeps each subject's average, and report cards with your comments are ready for a quarter, a semester or the whole year.

HOMESCHOOL RECORDS AND REPORTS, AS PDF OR CSV
• Attendance log (a calendar with totals) and hours log (by subject, with core and at-home totals), for the year, a semester or a quarter
• Year-end progress report and report cards
• Weekly plan: a printable checklist of each child's week
• Homeschool portfolio: reading log, journal and photos of work samples
• Homeschool transcript for high school, by year or by subject: credits, unweighted and weighted GPA, test scores, activities and course descriptions
• Certificates: a grade completed, 100 days of school, a finished book, a reading award, your own awards, and a homeschool diploma
• A CSV spreadsheet of every lesson and activity

READING LOG AND WORK SAMPLES
Keep each child's reading log, and add photos of worksheets, projects and art for the portfolio, straight from a lesson or your gallery.

EVERY SCHOOL YEAR, THROUGH GRADUATION
Start a new school year and your subjects come along while your students move up a grade. The transcript gathers every high school year, and a graduation plan tracks credits in English, math, science and every other area.

PRIVATE AND OFFLINE BY DESIGN
No sign-up and no analytics: children's names, lessons, attendance and photos stay on your device. Back up everything, photos included, to a file you keep, and restore it on a new phone. Optional reminders say what's planned each school day and sum up the week on Sundays, and milestones like 100 days of school come with a certificate to print.

FREE AND PRO
The free version includes all the planning and tracking for one student, a preview of every report, and an export of any report after a short video. It shows ads. Homeschool Pro adds every child, unlimited exports and no ads, as a monthly or yearly subscription (the yearly plan starts with a 14-day free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Cancel a subscription any time in Google Play.
