As of 12/11/25 - We used to love Host away. The company as a whole has steadily gone downhill over the last 18 months. The app is very bad when compared to others in the industry. The functions and features are very limited. It is very glitchy and freezes up alot. They keep saying they're improving and making updates, but I've seen no significant improvements as of December 2025. If you're looking for a PMS with good mobile capabilities, Host away is not it.

New host away customer coming from igms. This app is disappointing. Only allows you the very basic functions of inbox and seeing calendar and tasks. But my cleaner is very upset because there is no more task calendar for her to see cleanings - shows a long checklist for every task. No way to edit or adjust listings or automations. Rather lazy app design. Igms is far superior, you can do nearly everything in app to manage your listings. Worse: notifications are pushed but cannot view details!

Two steps backward with the latest update: 1. Push notifications no longer show which property a booking is for. As a manager of multiple listings, this is not a minor inconvenience — it's a critical operational failure. I now have to open the app every time just to know which property got a new reservation. 2. The app forces you to disable developer options on your phone before it will work. This is invasive and unnecessary for legitimate professional users.
