Description

MGR Hotel has a long history and is a part of life history of many people in and around Pullambadi. MGR Hotel was founded by Govindaraj and Kaliyamoorthi brothers in 1960, the year Pullambadi Canal brought water from Cauvery River.

The canal enhanced the life of millions of farmers, flourished the quality of life around and at the same time MGR Hotel started to serve tasty and quality food varieties to the hard-working common people.

MGR Hotel was initially started in a small hut with the blessings of Lord Chithambareswar, a temple that was built by Kulothunga chola I during 1080 AD and with the help of peoples of Pullambadi.

Right from the beginning, we always emphasized the taste of the food and ensured the cost of food is affordable for the common working people. As a result of our continuous efforts, the word “MGR HOTEL” becomes one of the icons of Pullambadi.

MGR Hotel has been serving tasty buds of hardworking people of this area for the last 60 years and the journey goes on!!!
