Beware Change/Cancel Penalties!! I will never use this app or site again. I chose the incorrect hotel - I meant to choose a hotel down the street with the same owners. When I realized it a day later (still 2 days prior to my arrival), I called to change to the other hotel. HotelsByMe said they would have to charge me a 1 night change fee because I didn't change it within 8 hours of making the reservation! Had I made the reservation directly with the hotel, there would be no change fee. But HotelsByMe has their own penalty!

They are a rip off I made a reservation with them and then a half hour later I needed to change it. They wanted to charge me a cancellation fee for the full price of the reservation plus another nights stay. They told me they would call the hotel to see if they would cancel the fee for me. Come to find out it wasn't the hotels fee and when I tried to call them back, they kept hanging up on me. Now i'm out the money I paid for the room because I couldn't use the reservation I made.

Kind of useless for atlantic city when it won't list a single casino hotel. Only lists cheap hotels. A disappointment. Uninstalled

Liars They say they never charge a change or cancellation fee. What they actually do is charge you a 100% change or cancellation fee and then try to tell you it's the hotels fee. They will tell you they will call the hotel to remove the fee and never call them and then not answer your phone calls afterwards.
