I love the House Book app! I can now find where things are stored, whether it's in the hall closet, garage, or our storage unit. I'm glad the app lets you move an item from one location to another. The most important thing to me, however, is the peace of mind it gives me to have an inventory of our stuff (with photos) for our renter's insurance, just in case!

Trying it out with 1 room (1 cabinet), approximately 30–50 items...have 1 housemate, and she cannot even access the list no matter how many times I use the House Share function inside the app. Contacted the developer a week ago and received no response. If it's user error, I can understand...if it's app-related I understand. I read the FAQ and there's no mention other than using the House Share function. Do not use.

Can't function without an internet connection. My house is private and so are my belongings. The '90s had great home inventory software without bloat. A feature simply wouldn't function if it was unsupported, not brick the whole software. I understand there's a sharing function, but synching is a feature, not a necessity.

Polished looks, although I stopped using it: - no offline functionality, so it doesn't work in the basement - prices are hidden until you register, they are not even listed on the webpage. For others: premium €30, +100 items 5EUR, +200 items 9EUR, +500 items 15EUR. So don't bother tracking small items :/
