This app was fantastic with my HS175 drone until this last update (at least upon initial first flight afterward). I'd never had a problem with it until the first flight after this latest update. I took off with the drone like I had every other time but when the drone got about 300ft away and was about 100ft high, suddenly the app crashed and showed a black screen, then restarted with EVERYTHING in Chinese. FORTUNATELY my drone stayed where it was and only required the RTH button to get home.

Okay it does work in GPS mode and doesn't disconnect while you are flying the drone. And I just found out that you only connect the controller only first. Then the app last but don't calibrate the drone using the app. Only the controller but only use your phone to connect your Wi-Fi to your drone. And then launch the app. And skip calibration. Enter into the drones' camera skip all calibration screens and your good to go. I hope this helps someone that doesn't know how to connect the holy stone.

Like so many others in recent days, after the most recent update, the app sticks at" Initializing the resource pack, please wait..." My HS175D drone is useless now. Off now to write negative review on Amazon. Perhaps that will get someone's attention. Edit: The latest update (7/18/22) seems to have fixed the issue.

Horrible. We are a family of 5 with several cell phones and will only connect to one phone and even when it does, there are so many glitches. Ugh I guess I have to return drone because can't use it due to this app

HS175D and T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S10 App installs and syncs with drone Wi-Fi. Able to fly drone and view video but not control camera. Tried iPhone version of app, and it has camera control and has more / better functionality. PLEASE UPDATE ANDROID APP TO WORK AS WELL AS iPhone app!!!

Since the last update the app does not work. It shows a popup notification saying it fails to get the data pack and asking to uninstall and download and install the app again, which I tried and did not work. Then the app becomes stuck on "initializing the resource pack" screen.
