The app is really interactive and give clear explanations, with much chance to improve vocabulary. It is also well-structured. There are quizzes, tests and exams to take with writing practice and more. I think more language apps should be built like this very practical and useful (just downloaded on a whim a few minutes ago and It's really good already) I think one can make some actual meaningful progress kn their language goal with this app. Highly recommend 😁

Not recommended. The lifetime membership for 150 AUD is a rip-off for customers. It should be priced around 10 AUD, like the Write It! Japanese mobile app. For comparison, the entire Affinity Suite (Designer, Publisher, and Photo) costs just 225 AUD as a one-time purchase—and those are fully featured, complex applications for Mac and Windows, not just a mobile app. Even Affinity’s iPad app costs 25 AUD, which I still consider overpriced.

Decent idea with really poor quality. Images may not load for some vocabulary or during a quiz. Audio excerpts are much quieter than the system sounds, so you can't even hear what it's about. Don't even bother with this one!

It times your lesson and fills it with ads if you don't accept their paid version if you are planning on not paying this app will be unfriendly, keep your peace and save your data

The app's content is good. Very HSK focused, very vocabulary focused. Which, if you're studying for the HSK exam can be a huge help. The app has issues though, it's been the 5th time or so I've been wanting to move on to the next unit, but the app doesn't let me, even though I met all requirements they set in order for me to move on. I've reported this issue many times, but every time I finish a unit it takes days for them to fix this. I shouldn't even be asking.

Questions are super repetitive, correct answer choices too obvious and the example sentences too few. Also, the Max is a ripoff considering the rapidly dropping openai Api costs. Plus, if you switch to the deep seek api, you just change the endpoints but can keep existing infrastructure. This could cut api cost drastically. Might even be worth it to host your own small model since the functionalities you need are super limited. Hit me up if you need help setting it up. Also based in Shanghai.
