HTML Editor: Code & Preview

Turn a web idea into a working page with HTML Editor. Write HTML with embedded CSS and JavaScript, preview the result, and use short lessons to understand the code you are changing. It is a practical workspace for students, beginners, and developers experimenting with small web pages on a mobile device.

WRITE AND CHECK YOUR CODE
Work in a code editor with syntax highlighting, bracket matching, automatic closing, and undo and redo. Show line numbers, find text, or jump to a line when a snippet grows. The extra symbol toolbar puts common coding characters within reach, so entering tags and expressions involves less switching between keyboard layouts.

Move between Code, Output, and Console tabs. The output view renders your document inside the app, including its styles and scripts. Use automatic preview refresh while editing, or turn it off when you prefer to control when the result updates. Console messages help you inspect what your page's JavaScript is doing.

EXPLORE DIFFERENT PREVIEW WIDTHS
Choose phone, tablet, or desktop preview modes to explore how a layout behaves at different widths. These are views within the app, useful for checking spacing and arrangement as you work on a responsive design. Try a heading, adjust a style rule, then return to the output to see the effect.

LEARN A CONCEPT, THEN PRACTICE IT
Learning Mode brings together HTML, CSS, and JavaScript topics. Filter by subject or search for a concept instead of reading everything in order. Each lesson includes an explanation, a quick hint, practical uses, common pitfalls, an example, and a code walkthrough.

Follow a lesson with two short coding tasks. Restore an example first, then write a fresh snippet using the concept. Check your answer, read the feedback, and reset the starter when you want another attempt. The second task unlocks after the first is completed. Reading and practice progress are recorded locally so you can return to topics you have started.

KEEP AND SHARE YOUR WORK
Create a document, open a saved HTML file, or use Save and Save As to keep your work as an HTML file. Share a file when you want to send the document itself. For an online handoff, generate a transfer code or share link and use the companion web editor to continue working with the snippet. Online transfer sends the current code to the service and needs an internet connection.

MAKE THE WORKSPACE COMFORTABLE
Choose light, dark, or system appearance and adjust the editor font size. Settings let you control line numbers, accessibility mode, auto-save, backup on exit, and session restoration. Drafts and workspace copies are local app data; save important work as files rather than treating a local session as permanent backup.

The Data & Privacy page lets you review settings, clear temporary editor data, or reset local app data. The Rewards Hub also provides optional daily rewards and ad-based coin activities. Reward coins are in-app items, not cash.

Editing self-contained pages and reading bundled lessons do not need an online service. Remote images, external scripts, online transfers, and advertising need connectivity. Use HTML Editor to read a concept, try a change, inspect the result, and keep the code you want to build on.
