The telematics is completely trash. How on earth do you think someone can determine the driving conditions only from the accelerometer and gps data of a phone!? Someone cuts me off, I break hard, I get bad points... I don't understand how braking hard contribute to accidents... it should be the opposite. I just avoided one... It doesn't even requires to enter vehicle data (tires, brakes, type of car, last maintenance etc. Hard cornering has different meaning in new porsche and 30-year-old wv.

App and its in car sensor companion are not adjusted well for the reality of electric cars. Whenever I use the actual brakes on my car, not the recuperation, I get sharp deductions for driving g safety. In order to maintain my brakes, I have to brake thoroughly every now and then, or the car will accumulate rust on the rotors and ultimately fail technical inspection later this year. No way to account for this in the HUK app. Frustrating.
