Update: using recommended adaptor I am blown away. Additional to upfront information the report is a whole new level. I am surprised this feature isn't paid or at least in part. When it works this app is incredibly generous with what it gives for free. I don't get much information, but I have a message saying bad obd. I can monitor battery voltage. I read the FAQ I believe the obd adaptor I have is good, but I will get the recommended and try again. Dr Prius worked fine.

I started originally with Torque Pro on my Xiaomi phone when I bought my 2014 Prius in mid-2022. Torque Pro provides quite a bit of info, but the PIDs are a trifle fiddly. I added Hybrid Assistant a few months ago, and find it being used muuch more frequently than TPro. There is some slight difference between temperature readings, but only by 5-10 degrees F. I particularly like the fan control (always turns on to "6"), and I find this app somewhat more useful than TPro. A

Used to love this app. Now it doesn't stay open and disconnects. Battery optimizations turned off, just disconnects.

Didn't work with VLinkr FS and 2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid (GAC Toyota Levin model year 2021)

App can't detect my car 2024 Toyota Corolla cross hybrid and is constantly losing connection or sometimes just close itself. I have bought 3 different obd 2 scanners, and all of them have worked with Dr Prius app very well. But no luck with Hybrid Assistant.
