Hyprtile turns your Android home screen into a tiling Linux desktop, inspired by Hyprland, Omarchy and kitty. Widgets become windows with gaps and glowing borders, under a waybar, with a terminal, a launcher and 31 themes from the ricing scene.
TILING HOME SCREEN
Widgets are windows, tiled in a dwindle layout with gaps, rounded corners, rotating gradient borders, drop shadows and a frosted blur of the wallpaper behind each one.
A WAYBAR UP TOP
Workspace pills, the clock, battery, network, cpu and memory.
WORKSPACES
Swipe sideways to slide between workspaces. Each one keeps its own windows.
A KITTY STYLE TERMINAL
It greets you with a fastfetch style summary and runs a small shell: open apps, change the theme, change the wallpaper, or type help.
A BTOP STYLE MONITOR
A system monitor window with live graphs for your phone, in the spirit of btop.
WINDOWS FOR EVERYTHING
A big clock, weather with sunrise and sunset, notifications, a music player styled after cliamp by Bjarne Øverli (MIT), a cava visualizer, pinned apps and a calendar.
CLIAMP RADIO BUILT IN
The music window plays cliamp radio: Lofi, Synthwave, EDM, Chiptunes, Amiga, NCS House, Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Trap, Phonk, Chill and more. Pick a station, see the song title as it plays, and step stations with next and previous. Radio by cliamp, radio.cliamp.stream.
A ROFI STYLE LAUNCHER
Open the app launcher, start typing, and fuzzy search finds the app.
BEZIER ANIMATIONS
Windows pop in and workspaces slide, moved by bezier curves you can tune yourself.
WALLPAPERS
Every theme comes with a generated wallpaper to match, and it can run on your lock screen too, with a clock and widgets you set in hyprtile.conf. Or pick your own image from the phone.
31 THEMES AND FIVE TERMINAL FONTS
The neon house looks, plus the themes people use most, in their own colours: Tokyo Night, Catppuccin Mocha and Latte, Gruvbox, Nord, Rose Pine, Everforest, Kanagawa, Dracula, GitHub Dark, One Dark, Monokai, Solarized Dark, Night Owl, Ayu Mirage, Palenight, Matte Black, Osaka Jade and Ristretto. Every one is tuned for easy reading. Pick the terminal font too: JetBrains Mono, Fira Code, Meslo, Hack or Caskaydia Mono. Switch either one in a tap from quick settings, or set it in the config file.
RICE IT IN A CONFIG FILE
Hyprtile keeps its look in hyprtile.conf, written in Hyprland's syntax. Edit it, save it, and the desktop reloads live. Use general for gaps, border size and gradient border colors, decoration for rounding, blur and shadow, and animations for bezier curves and the animations that use them.
HYPRTILE PRO (OPTIONAL)
One purchase in the app adds Android widgets from your other apps as tiled windows with the same gaps and glowing borders (stack several in one window and swipe through them), icon packs from your installed icon pack apps, 12 more themes with pure black and pure white among them, the pure black page, a text and json editor window (format, check and walk a file as a tree), a password window for strong passwords and passphrases that are never saved, and a 2fa codes window: an authenticator kept encrypted on this phone only. Scan a QR code or a picture of one, bring codes over from Google Authenticator, and keep your own backup file sealed with a passphrase.
ONE PRICE, YOURS TO KEEP
Pay once. Pro is one optional extra purchase. No subscription, no ads, no analytics, no account. Your data stays on your phone. Notifications and calendar are only read on your phone, and only if you allow it. The weather uses your approximate location, only if you allow it. The radio connects to radio.cliamp.stream only while a station plays.
Hyprtile is an independent app and is not affiliated with Hyprland, Omarchy or kitty.
