As a deep sleeper who struggles to actually get out of bed in the morning, I have had this app for years, and I love it. If you struggle with actually getting up like me, I recommend the barcode scanner. I set mine to be the barcode on my face wash in the bathroom, so it makes me get started on my morning. One warning: you can still turn off your phone (occasionally guilty), so I still recommend a backup alarm clock (I got a cheap one for 5–10 bucks and put it across the room).

For a person that used to have so many problems waking up, this is the best app! I think this app cured my waking up problems. The sound was so annoying that I've learned to wake up before it sounded. LOVE THIS APP!

My phone always runs hot when the alarm is going off. Overheated it this morning, and it shut down update; phone shut off again because it overheated while charging and the alarm going off. Please fix!!!

I've been using this app since 2016. As of 2025, the support is officially dead in my opinion. For a couple of months now, the app has been missing alarms for me. Or it will go off silently for hours. I have tried moving to other devices with the app thinking it was my hardware as the issue. My problems persisted though. Too many failures and missed alarms to trust again. Unfortunately uninstalling.

Alarm no longer works properly! It was my reliable go-to for a decade. The tasks helped me wake up on time, and the app was clean and simple to use. But the app has become unreliable - half the time, if I snooze the alarm. It shuts itself off instead. Thank god I always set up a backup alarm, because this one no longer works properly. Also, it now has intrusive ads (full screen ones that are hard to close, and for which I need to force quit the app).

Editing my review again. It seems to be more reliable however the barcode scanner task is the most obnoxious thing in the world. Not bc it makes me wake up. No. I could scan a new barcode for an alarm set to go off in 2 minutes. Scan the same exact barcode once that alarm goes off, and it'll tell you it's the wrong one. ETA: DEVELOPERS HELLLLLLOOOOO?!?!? ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION?!
