Description
The adoption of foreign languages for easy communications has resulted in a gradual loss of cultural essence in the Ibibio Spoken Language and meaning.
The Ibibio Dictionary app serves as a reference tool for both the Ibibio speaking people and others who wish to learn the language.
I do not take any credit for the translations done in this app, but to Prof. Ekong E. Ekong. The book “ŋwed Mme Usem Iko Ibibio Ye Iko Mbakara" is a pioneer bilingual dictionary for general public.
The current version of this app only contains Ibibio words from A-G
I will be releasing subsequent versions as the updates are made. Also updates concerning the audio for proper pronunciation of each Ibibio words will be added, after all updates on words have been made.

For this app to be very useful widely, the English to Ibibio part needs to be functional for people like me who are not ibibio but need to communicate in the language. I love the language though and just downloaded this app.

Should literally be called ibibio dictionary lite. Asides the English to Ibibio dictionary not working, the ibibio vocabulary itself can't be more than a hundred words. About 5 entries returned "no results found"
