Ice Drift

Ice Drift is a casual catching game set on a frozen lake. A basket moves left and right along the bottom of the screen while fish and other objects fall from the ice holes above, and the task is to catch the useful items and let the bad ones pass.

The basket follows a finger drag or taps on the left and right halves of the screen. Fish of several kinds add points when they land in the basket; chunks of ice, old boots and rusty cans cost a life or reduce the score when caught, so they must be avoided. The falling speed increases steadily the longer a round lasts, and a round ends when all lives are gone. The current score, the best score and the remaining lives are shown at the top of the main game screen.

A challenge mode sets a fixed target, such as a number of fish of one kind within a time limit, and a missions screen lists daily and permanent tasks that grant in-game rewards when completed. The rewards screen collects earned badges and basket skins, and the profile screen keeps statistics such as total fish caught and longest round. A short tutorial explains movement and the difference between good and bad objects.

Ice Drift works offline. Scores, missions and settings are stored locally on the device; there is no account, no multiplayer and no in-app purchases, and sound and vibration can be turned off in the settings.
