Ice Flow Fishing is an offline-first field workbench that turns a clipboard preventer form into a phone-native test sheet for certified backflow testers, plumbing inspectors, water-utility contractors, and apprentice techs. Cold start opens a fullscreen paper-style sheet—not a carousel or generic list. Enter site tag, device serial, assembly size, manufacturer, model, and installation location in a dense, typed-only layout built for gloves-on fieldwork. Switch assembly type among RP/RPZ, DC/DCVA, PVB, and SVB to load the matching seeded procedure card with ordered test steps and official differential and relief limits. Per-step gauge pads capture high-side, low-side, and relief readings with live psi range gates; out-of-band values highlight amber or red before pass/fail can resolve. Automatic pass/fail chips compare readings to the active procedure limits. When a supervisor must force a field decision, record a manual override reason. Complete the tester block—initials, certification number, device-clock test date/time, and gauge kit ID—then one-tap Seal Sheet. The card freezes read-only, stamps a local seal code, and blocks further edits unless you Unseal with an explicit reason. Browse sealed cards by assembly type or date, open read-only review, or duplicate-as-new for a similar device without retyping headers. Share a sealed sheet through the system share sheet as plain text or a simple PDF-style summary (serial, steps, readings, pass/fail, initials). No account. No cloud. A procedure reference deck covers step order in text, common failure cues such as relief weeps and check chatter, and psi limit tables for each assembly family. Preferences store psi vs kPa display and default tester initials. All data stays on-device with local-only storage; no location, camera, or microphone access. In-app Privacy Policy and Terms spell out the local-only model. Built for real preventer tests on site—procedure-aware gates, instant pass/fail, and sealed shareable cards when connectivity is optional and accuracy is not.
