iDECT: ITI Application

iDECT (Integrated Digital Ecosystem for Craftsman Training) is an official initiative of the Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Government of Meghalaya, India. The application has been developed to bring the entire ITI ecosystem onto a single digital platform, making processes more transparent, efficient, and easy to manage for students, institutes, and administrators.

Through iDECT, students can easily register and apply for ITI admissions, explore available trades, and stay updated with course details and syllabus. The app simplifies the admission journey by allowing users to track their application status without the need for repeated follow-ups or paperwork.

For institutes and trainers, iDECT makes day-to-day management more organized. Student records, enrolments , and academic progress can be maintained in one place, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy. Teaching and training activities can be planned and monitored smoothly, helping ensure that the curriculum is delivered effectively.

The app also makes it easier to handle attendance, assessments, and examinations. Attendance can be recorded digitally in real time, while assessments and exams can be managed within the system, making evaluation more structured and reliable. Results and certifications are generated digitally, ensuring faster processing and better transparency for students.

Beyond academics, iDECT supports job placement tracking and alumni management, helping institutes stay connected with students even after they complete their training. This creates better opportunities for employment tracking and long-term engagement.

With built-in dashboards and reports, the application provides useful insights for monitoring and decision-making at institute, district, and state levels. Designed for mobile use, iDECT allows users to access information anytime and anywhere, while secure, role-based access ensures that data remains protected.

Overall, iDECT simplifies ITI management by reducing paperwork, improving coordination, and creating a more connected and efficient training ecosystem across Meghalaya.
