Update 2019: En Mac funciona perfecto. (lo uso mediante USB). Viejo review 2013 (windows 7): No sé porqué tiene malos reviews. Funciona. PERO ocasionalmente tengo que desinstalar el programa en la PC porque "detecta" el tercer monitor (sin tener conectado el teléfono), y las ventanas se abren en la tercer pantalla la a la cual no puedo acceder.

not sure why so many have problems, has been working for me with all my devices on both Windows and Mac, albeit a little glitches at times, still very useful when a second monitor isn't around but an old tablet or phone is

In light of the negative reviews of this product, I felt it worthwhile to document my experience. My laptop is a 2014 MacBook Air running macOS Mojave version 10.14.2. My Android tablet, being used as a second display, is a Google Pixel C running Android 8.1.0. When I first downloaded the apps, I was on a public WiFi, and the two systems would not communicate. I've had similar problems before. I've never troubled to thoroughly investigate this issue in the past, but at a guess it is a firewall / access / network setup issue. Returning home, I had no problems getting the two systems to communicate, and as I write this I have my tablet displaying a second application. I have disconnected and reconnected several time with no problems. Initially I manually entered the laptop's IP address and port, but the Android side of iDisplay was able to auto-detect the Mac and connect. It's not a high speed link by any means, and I would not recommend playing Minecraft on the Android second screen, though it can be done. System preferences showed both screens and allowed some configuration. So, so far I can say that the software is working as advertised.

Extremely bad performance (especially in comparison to the free Spacedesk app), mouse doesn't work, no sound (the main reason I bought this app, as Spacedesk doesn't support audio) and it even causes glitches and slowdowns on my Windows host. At least I got my money back using a Google Play refund.

Don't purchase for connections between Macbook and Android tablet, App doesn't work AT ALL. Tried contacting developer for refund and they have ignored my emails. @iDisplay — please get in touch with me.

I just purchased and installed iDisplay, which is to be primarily used on my MacBook Pro ("MBP") Retina Display Late 2013 13" and Samsun Galaxy Note 8.0. I only have 2 issues: While the "Use as Separate Display" option is working, I could not get "Mirror Built-in Retina Display" function to work. It works for a bit (about half a second the Note displays what's on the MBP) but then it reverts back to the use as separate display mode. Any quick solutions to this? (Will add 2 stars when you resolve this) When will you provide support for USB connection? (Will add another star when you resolve this) Your swift response would be highly appreciated. Thanks. UPDATE: app doesn't work anymore. Always shows "Disconnect device" on my computer even though no device is connected, therefore, this prevents me from connecting other devices to my mac. Developers and support aren't responsive at all. I think this project is dead.
