IGC droid now works very well for me, with the latest version of the app, and with my phone's battery saver mode turned off, and a firewall app installed to block other mobile data usage. It reliably generates an IGC log file that is essentially identical to that independently produced by Tophat on another device. And live tracking via Glide port works as well as the cellphone tower system allows, which is pretty good in most areas around here. Getting the log file via email to myself is also very handy.

I've just downloaded this and am I looking forward to trying out as a backup for my Oldie. Would it be possible to add livetrack24 as one of the tracking options?

App works pretty terribly. The igc files it creates are unusable, and phone
coverage is to spotty go work well as a tracker. I wasted $10 don't waste
your money. Use Soar for igc tracking and a spot for live tracking.
