★★★★★ It's the app I use the most to get information about movies, actors, TV series, etc. It's fast, reliable, and I enjoy learning about all aspects, good or bad, of a production. I've discovered new shows or movies because of the app. I can find an actor/actress and get background and other things they've done. Ratings are helpful as are the reviews (which can be entertaining themselves!). I recommend IMDB to others as I think it's a great and powerful tool.

★★☆☆☆ Absolutely terrible search. 1) open app, touch Search and touch in search field to bring up keyboard, start Swiping first word of... Nope, your word is ignored, try again. Also, the search results hardly ever update after entering a search term even after pressing Enter. I'm getting 100mbps+ so it's not my connection. Also, would it really hurt you to make it, so it shows your rating beside the average rating, rather having to click on Rate to see what you gave it. Very poor.

★★☆☆☆ 2017: No discussion board. 2024: still no discussion board, and now a person cannot search by character, because there are no character pages anymore. I get growth & progress, but let's not forget "Db" at least once stood for database. Any improvements should never make it a less capable database.

★★☆☆☆ Oct-2024 update: the adverts are now half-screen in size, making the whole app grotty. The ads are always irrelevant, too. Previous: Been using this site and all for 25 years or so. Used to be an amazing resource. Still is yet now is also bloated with adverts and nonsense. It's become a grotty experience.
