Description

El uso racional de antibióticos y su selección adecuada son las herramientas fundamentales para disminuir el impacto de las resistencias sobre los resultados clínicos de los pacientes y el entorno cambiante en el que nos movemos.

Seleccionar el antimicrobiano con el espectro más estrecho para la etiología probable del paciente en función del modelo de infección y aquel con el menor efecto sobre su microbiota y con menos efectos adversos es el objetivo de cualquier médico cuando se enfrenta a la decisión de prescribir un antibiótico.
El problema de las resistencias y el uso adecuado de los antimicrobianos es una tarea que preocupa a todas las Sociedades Científicas y profesionales designadas por éstas y que han elaborado las presentes guías en base al conocimiento científico actual.

En esta aplicación se pretende ofrecer una serie de recomendaciones para el tratamiento empírico de los pacientes con infección comunitaria en base al síndrome que presenta

Esperamos que pueda ayudar a esa primera decisión terapéutica y al uso adecuado de las distintas opciones terapéuticas.
