The Informed Delivery® Mobile application allows you to start your mornings with a preview of your day’s USPS mail and packages. This free app lets you see photos of your mail before it arrives and receive USPS tracking updates.
You can use the app to:
• Create your account or sign-in with an existing account. • Get daily digest notifications to preview your mail and packages scheduled to arrive soon. • See grayscale images of your mail before it arrives*. Images are of the exterior, address side only of letter sized mail. • Interact with mailer-provided digital content associated with your mail (e.g. - special offers, related links). • Scan eligible tracking numbers or label barcodes to track the status of your inbound or outbound USPS packages. • Get delivery status updates directly to your smartphone.
*Images are only provided for letter-sized mailpieces that are processed through USPS’s automated equipment. Mail and packages may not arrive the same day you get a notification – please allow several days for delivery.

Works well and no problems. Maybe everything has been resolved but when I tried to replicate the issues that were reported about login, biometrics and passwords, it worked flawlessly. The app reporting worked well, and I can see all my junk mail before going to the mailbox. When I just exited, I was able to use the biometrics for an immediate login, otherwise I used the password login and TFA to reconnect. All mail is listed numerically and photos are shown. Packages are just listed, no photo.

One time verification every time I use the app, and sometimes the mail that says it's arriving doesn't ... Edit: every time I log in I have to do The one time verification I'm so sick of it I'm done I'm uninstalling the app also I get mail just about every day, but it may tell me once a week that I'm getting mail

The app itself is useful, but the login process is terrible. Every time I open it, I have to log in, complete multifactor authentication, and then log in again. It completely defeats the purpose of having a mobile app for quick access. Until the login process is simplified or biometric sign-in works properly, it's too frustrating to use regularly.
