I think this app is absolutely amazing! It allows any individual the opportunity to learn more about bioacoustic easily, and learn more about what occurs within their everyday life. I have been looking for years trying to find a way to record or monitor infra sounds since we were getting sick from a neighbor's ceiling fans which were amplified by the concrete structure of the apartment. We finally got better once the fans were removed, but at a very high legal and expensive cost. You are a God sent, thank you!

So I moved into an apartment that was making my ears ring horrible. Same for anyone who comes in the apartment. We have a power-line behind the building, and the building is very old. Just trying to figure out if this ringing is due to electrical issues in the building, old furnace? Or could this be a neighbor using low frequency sound to harass me? I didn't hear these sounds when I first moved in. The RED VOX app showed a frequency of -63 to -120. Thoughts?

I have allowed all permissions, only saw in another review you replied to, you mentioned that the recording has to be at least 1 minute long to build a save location. So I recorded for 1m20s. Now I see the file in the app and in my file explorer, but it won't play.... Can you tell me how I do that, so I can hear what I've recorded? I'm really curious to get what I'm hearing on file, because I seem to be the only one who can hear it

Permissions requirements are super sketchy, but also it doesn't even work. I physically cannot simply make a recording and download it to play it back. That is literally all that I want, but whenever I hit record, it makes the recording, I hit save as WAV file, and it says I have no recording selected. I've tried googling, reading the insanely outdated user manual on their website, nothing. There is no way to simply download and listen to what I record.

Take an app with a good idea behind it, and then make it so challenging to use and full of so many fake errors, that even someone with decent technical expertise gets frustrated, and you have this app. Recordings don't save, regardless of where I change the directory to, all permissions granted, and signed in as well. Nothing shows up online, will not save as a wav file, just getting invalid errors every time. This was supposed to be for a cool little science project, but it's too broken
