I went down the rabbit hole of doing the math myself and tried using a guitar tuner app, but the tuner app kept either picking up no tone or a harmonic. Then I discovered this app. The 10x averaging method works exceptionally well, and the interface is simple. Having an inexpensive way to have a numeric measurement of tension is so much better than relying on feelings or not knowing if the tension gage on the saw is accurate for a specific blade. Looking forward to updates and larger datasets.

Used to tension on my bandsaw - worked fine!

App opens fine, parameters are easy to set. Watched Andy's short tutorial on YouTube on how to use the app. When I click start, I plucked the bandsaw blade 10 times, then after the 10th time the dot disappeared, it appeared to be stuck in thought doing calculations and the app freezes. Can't click the stop button and no error shows up. Just have to kill the app and try again. Same result 5 times in a row. Please fix!

What am I missing. How do I update my Android app. Am now using ver 1.3. No better, doesn't freeze but does not work either, no feedback.

Does not work, says their background noise. When there is none. When it does detect a noise/right frequency, It's way too loose. The blade I was trying to use was a 5/8. I think it's got potential, but it needs work.
