The Inseego Mobile App provides a simple, intuitive interface for installing and managing one or more Inseego devices.
Installation The Mobile App helps users to install their Inseego fixed wireless access (FWA) device in the optimal location to maximize broadband speed in their home, business or enterprise. Installation features are not available on Inseego mobile devices as by nature they can be moved around and don’t require installation in a fixed location.
Simply scan the QR code on your device to pair with your phone and get started.
After pairing your smart phone or tablet with your Inseego FWA device, the mobile app automatically collects signal strength data from the device’s cellular connection. As you move the device to different locations and adjust the angle or orientation, the app provides easy-to-understand performance ratings. The app has customized installation flows for end-consumers doing self-installation, or for professional installers.
Device Management The Mobile App provides access to cloud-based device management features for all Inseego 5G devices, including FWA devices and mobile hotspots like the MiFi X PRO. The device management features of the app allow you to configure and manage all your Inseego devices on your smart phone, from anywhere in the world.

If you don’t have a QR code or just want to manage a device, you can enter the IMEI number in the App to register with the cloud and get started.

It works exactly as it should. The only downside of the app is that you can't do a software or firmware update from the app. As far as anything else goes, while you may not have to use the app for administration, it does make most of the control of the hotspot easier to control from a phone or a tablet. To those that claim to be tech-savvy...doubtful that you are if you have so much difficulty with a simple Hotspot application.

I have no opinion on this app I have to download if I want home Internet or Wi-Fi. I'm not rating Google Play, and I'm not rating US Cellular this time. I feel this app may be a bit pricey but do far I have only been able to receive a Wi-Fi signal a few days and the box that is putting out the Wi-Fi is right here in the next room. It will go in and out and doesn't seem to.ne very fast or reliable. This is why I decided to download the imseego Mobile app to see if it helps

Won't save router. Have to reinstall/add router every time you close then open the app.

The most difficult app to set up modems, configure settings, reset passwords or anything. Months ago it was easy to tap into the modem and configure settings, now it breaks during authentication.

The apps see the device, tells me that it's online, but then won't let me configure it because it tells me that I'm not connected to it even though I am.
