This app only works when the Asus Router app has been installed; it only binds with the administrator account option within the local network where the target Asus router is present. Can't use the guest account option; I still wonder how to do it. It doesn't support the landscape orientation. Do note that if you share a Wi-Fi hotspot from a host device that uses Instant Guard, you need to disable the Instant Guard on the host device; it basically a VPN service.

Edit : From some time it started working also for me, and it is great. From 1* I change it to 5* _______________________________________________ I have a public IP from provider which is NATed IP. From my point of view everything is transparent and for other things working public IP, but Instant Guard is still thinking that I have private (because is needed setup on wan interface static private IP from ISP). I do not understand why is not possible external check of IP or manualy set my public IP

I use it to access my home devices, that are not publicly accessible, from my phone. This works perfectly with my Zen WiFi AX Mini. Only one thing missing. When I connect my laptop to the mobile hotspot and start Instant Guard, the laptop does not see my home devices. I need to set up another VPN solution in the router and in the laptop. It would be nice to have just one.

The IG app shows connected but I can't get internet while connected. When connected to home Wi-Fi and IG on, it works but once when Wi-Fi is turned off, and it's mobile data, I get no internet.

You need to revise and optimize this app, when I activate Instant Guard on my Asus AX6000 router the speed drops more than half, from 700 MB to 230 MB.

After a month of so, it just cannot connect anymore to the router, even if I am on the router's Wi-Fi. It needs more features and more frequent maintenance.

Works on my phone but when my wife downloaded the app it says I need to add her as I'm the administrator. I tried adding her on the asus router app and on the pc gui but can't see any options to do so. Contacted asus, and they asked me for the system logs and Wi-Fi logs, so I did that and asked why would they need logs to tell me how to set an app up they responded by asking me to update the firmware even though its updated, and they could see that from the logs. So still not set up on her mobile.
