This app CLAIMS to tell you what language you are hearing by detecting it. Which is why I downloaded it. That is 100% FALSE. As soon as the app opens you HAVE TO PICK WHAT LANGUAGE YOU WANT TO TRANSLATE FROM AND WHAT LANGUAGE YOU WANT TO TRANSLATE TO. My partner speaks cantonese with her friends and I speak English. Thought I would give this a try. Unfortunately it simply doesn't understand their conversion. Keep getting 'I didn't catch that please try again.' it also isn't live which is what I'm after. The best apps I have found will live translate everything but when I have checked with her only about 60% is a correct translation. My search for a live translation app continues.
