Intelligent Search

Intelligent Search is a fast, private search overlay for Android. Open it from anywhere and reach your apps, contacts, calendar, files, settings and the web from a single search bar, without leaving what you are doing.

Everything it searches on your phone is indexed and matched on your phone. There is no account to create, no cloud sync and no advertising.

SEARCH EVERYTHING FROM ONE PLACE
• Apps, contacts, calendar events, device settings and the folders you choose to include
• A Best Match card puts the most likely result first, ready to open with one press
• Typo-tolerant matching finds what you meant, even when it is misspelled or spelled the way it sounds
• Results learn from the apps you actually use, so the ones you need rise to the top

ACT, DON'T JUST SEARCH
Type a request in plain language and Intelligent Search prepares it in the right app:
• "Text Sarah that I'm running 5 minutes late"
• "Meeting tomorrow at 3 PM"
• "Remind me to call the pharmacy at 6"
• "Set a timer for 10 minutes" or "Wake me up at 7:30"
• "Directions home"
You stay in control: every action opens in your own messaging, phone, calendar, clock or maps app for you to confirm.

ANSWERS AS YOU TYPE
• Calculations appear instantly as you type
• Web suggestions from the search engine you choose, with Google Lens and voice search one tap away
• Custom search shortcuts take you straight to a site's own results

QUICK APPS
Your most-used apps and shortcuts sit right below the search bar as quick-launch pills. Choose and reorder them to suit the way you work.

MADE FOR YOUR PHONE
• A translucent overlay with adjustable background blur that floats over any app
• Material You colors that follow your wallpaper, in both light and dark mode

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Contacts, calendar, files and app data are searched only on your device
• Nothing you search on your phone is uploaded to us or anyone else
• Web searches go only to the search engine you choose, and web suggestions can be turned off
• Hide apps from results and protect them with your fingerprint or screen lock
• Works with your work profile and Private Space
• Optional Tor Browser support for private web searches
• Encrypted backups protected by a passphrase only you know, with optional weekly automatic backups

GUIDED SETUP
A short setup checklist walks you through permissions and system settings, so every feature is ready in a few minutes. Each permission is optional, and Intelligent Search works with whatever you allow.
