The Greek meanings are from the modern and scholarly New Testament Greek-English Lexicon based on Semantic Domains, published by the United Bible Societies. All the Greek meanings are listed in 93 domains or groups of meanings, providing an accurate and precise meaning analysis.
The main editor of this dictionary, Prof Johannes Louw, was also the main translator of the ScriptureDirect Interlinear Translation. He was assisted by Dr Bennie Wolvaardt, Founding President of Veritas College International.

Only app that parses the Greek text with a couple of finger touches. Lexical meaning quickly available just as easily. App is FAST and the corresponding english translation is also excellent. Best Android Bible app for working with the Greek text. Nothing compares and I own many bible apps. The most expensive apps can not do what this one does. Incredible that it is free at time of writing. Best of all, everything works and shows even if offline.

So helpful! Instead of displaying English in Greek word order, the app shows a more naturalized English reading. Some say this is confusing but the developer solves that by having corresponding English highlighted together with the Greek when you click on it (and vice versa). Simple but efficient, this feature helps me visualize differences and connections between both languages. I'm on the lookout for an interlinear Hebrew Bible laid out similarly. Dev, any plans to make a Hebrew OT app? :-)

Intentionally wrong translations to push certain ideas. Is doesn't mean merely represents. Antitype is not merely corresponding or representing! It's an extremely strong word. Eis means into/causing, not because of!

Where is Acts 8:37? :) You know... Interlinear bible who discounts LORD'S WORDS is no less than the Satan's work of art itself. Consider your app to defend Texts Receptus Greek version or else defending Critical Text Greek heretics' version only bring you closer to where Westcott & Hort belong today: Hell. 🙏

Meighan Dacey looking at this app further, I'm not impressed with the dictionary. For example, for Logos, it doesn't even give the very common translation, "mental faculty", but instead gives "reason", not in the sense of rationality, but only in the sense of having a reason to do something. And logos is rather important word in the New Testament!

For clarity, you have to go to the website FAQ to find out that it's the Nestle-Aland approach being used. So this is only helpful for those who accept the Alexandrian texts. I do not, but it's important to me to know what people are reading and where precision is needed to help correct misunderstandings that arise from using Alexandrian texts. Nevertheless, this app is a lot of work, and it is acknowledged as a respectable effort.

Are you aware when the Vatican was meshing all the pagan religions with Christianity they used the one size fits all pagan title God so people wouldn't know they meant Baal?. I downloaded this app after looking at some of your pictures. Oh and did you know Jesus is a Latin name for our Hebrew Savior Nashua?
