Internet Speed Test & Ping

Measure your real internet speed in seconds. Tap START and Speed Test checks download, upload, ping and jitter on Wi-Fi, mobile data or Ethernet.

ACCURATE BY DESIGN
The first seconds of any transfer are spent in TCP slow start, before your connection reaches full speed. Averaging from that moment makes a fast line look slow. Speed Test discards the ramp-up and reports steady-state throughput measured across several parallel connections, so a single stream can never bottleneck your result.

WHAT YOU GET
• Download and upload speed in Mbps
• Ping (latency) in milliseconds
• Jitter — the latency variation that makes calls and games stutter
• Your IP address, internet provider and approximate location
• Connection type: Wi-Fi, mobile data or Ethernet

TEST HISTORY
Every result is saved on your device, so you can compare speeds after moving your router, changing plan or switching provider. Tap any result for the full detail.

HOME SCREEN WIDGET
Keep your latest download, upload and ping on your home screen. Tap it to run a new test.

ALSO INSIDE
• Dark and light theme
• Available in over 80 languages, matched to your device
• Your history stays on your device

WHEN TO RUN A TEST
Video buffering, calls freezing, or games lagging even when your download speed "looks fine" — that is when ping and jitter matter more than megabits. Test before and after moving your router, or to check you are getting the speed you pay for.

A NOTE ON DATA USE
A speed test transfers real data in order to measure real speed. On a fast connection a full test can use several hundred megabytes, so keep that in mind on a limited mobile plan.
