Intersign - Learn ASL

★★★★★ I absolutely love this app. iVe used it for about a week, and they don't lock down content and force you to pay like most other apps. I have learned animals colors numbers family etc. lovely app!! I also love that for ASL they have three separate teachers, and they all sign the signs a slight bit differently, making you learn and see accents and get every version of the sign you possibly can! Most helpful app I have found on this search in my weeks of trying ASL apps

★★★★★ Good app! Lessons seem hard at first, but then when you start to understand, you pick it up exponentially. Unlike a lot of the other ASL apps on here, it's free version with ads, which is great. Some side games are behind a subscription, but everything else is free, and the subscription is a very reasonable price compared to the other apps. :) Really enjoying learning the language! If I had one complaint, it's that the pictures and videos can be a bit small, but still a great app!

★★☆☆☆ Would be 5 stars, but I experienced a glitch where the gifs supposed to show you the signs wouldn't load, which makes it impossible to complete any lessons past the alphabet section. Please fix this!

★★☆☆☆ Many of the signs are wrong. The woman with the long fingernails caters to her fingernails when she's signing. They have 2 words with the same sign, but if you click the wrong one, it's wrong even though the sign is exactly the same. It doesn't teach proper sentence structure, so they are counted wrong. An ad is between each lesson.

★★☆☆☆ As someone trying to learn sign language, I think this is a great app. It teaches you every day words, and if you already know a section you can skip the lesson. I recommend this app to beginners trying to learn sign language. Sadly, I had to move my review from 5 stars because the ads have gotten much worse than before, and you can't get through one lesson undisturbed.
