Inspired by the classic 1978 arcade game. Defend the Earth against wave after wave of Alien Invaders from space! Battle tour way to victory in this fast paced shoot em up (or SHUMP if your prefer!)
Earth has dispatched you to Mars to take on the Alien onslaught, take control of your powered up battle tank, use multiple weapon to clear wave after wave of alien attacks. Face off against three different boss types with different and challenging attack patterns.
Use three different on screen control methods or a separate gamepad to control your battle tank.
Based on the classic 1978 arcade game, this modern interpretation introduces 3 new weapons, bosses and powerups.
Collect gems to upgrade weapon powerup times and shields.

Look I played the original Atari invaders game I loved it. Mars defender definitely reminds me of that old game, with a small difference. I also played asteroids, back in the day, as well as Pac-Man, pack lady, heck I even go back as far as pong. Loved it all.

I played the original in the day, this really takes me back, space invaders retro and deluxe I've installed, seriously addictive, just like 1978 all over again, only loads more to it, the controls on the defender version slightly slower I find, that might need seeing to, but still love it, especially the sound affects, good games 👍

Horrible controls. Unplayable. A left and right arrow plus a shooting button doesn't provide the flexibility to move rapidly as other shooter games, fingers missing the control 50% of the time. I get that this is supposed to be retro, but the ability to control should be adapted to touch screen technology (e.g. pressing on the right side of the screen makes it move right and vice versa while triggering an auto-shoot).
