Quillpad is a fork of an original app called Quillnote. Quillpad is fully free and open-source. It will never show you ads, ask you for unnecessary permissions or upload your notes anywhere without you knowing.
Take beautiful markdown notes whenever you feel inspired, place them in notebooks and tag them accordingly. Stay organized by making task lists, set reminders and keep everything in one place by attaching related files.

Great app, almost perfect replacement for Google Keep, with a bunch of extra useful features. The only minus I see is the lack of a desktop/web app to access my notes on PC. There's a file storage sync, and I can use Sync thing/Drop sync to get the markdown files on PC, but the associated tags will be lost (they are stored in the internal app DB). And even the associated notebooks will be lost, though it would be quite easy to store them as a sub-folder structure, not sure why it hasn't been done.

I like this app, I appreciate having an alternative to google keep, but I wish the reminders worked differently. I wish instead of having to enter in what the reminder should say, it would default to being the title or first line of the note I am adding a reminder to.

Unable to connect to Nextcloud using my password or app password, always getting a 'something went wrong' message, shame as I'd like to try it, finally found how to correct this, you need notes plugin on Nextcloud installed, luckily I sussed this out as no help from Quill pad....

Total mess. Newly created notes are deleted immediately after they are created. Sync does not work with cloud either - it creates *hundreds* of conflicted files in the directory you select for syncing. These conflicted files get pulled back in as if they're new notes, confusing things even further. It might work with other cloud storage providers (or if you run local only) but this ain't it for me.

Not fit even for a single star. The rich text system is too much poor. Reminder system is extremely worst. Note system is quite beggarly. Samsung Note and Reminder are far better than this. I must should request people never to download this and to repent. This looks also like a vagrant hapless.
