This is still the best gardening app I have found! Grow bot is very helpful, and its info has expanded considerably. I can't wait to take pictures of plants or bugs to see whether the "mystery items" are good or bad. Navigating app is easy. Favorites parts are plant companion&enemies, what pest will nibble on what plant, and # plants per g-bag. Hopefully the basil varieties will be updated". UPDATE from April 2023: Basil varieties have been updated! Thank you for creating such a comprehensive app!

Loved it when it had more free features but now to have multiple plants in my garden bed I have to pay. So uninstalled it and leaving a lower rating. Hate that free feature is gone. Good if you want premium version, hence the 2 stars.

Update 01/14/25: Dropped from a 5 star to a 1 star. You want me to pay $47/year to have more than 1 garden bed now? Uninstalled and going with Planter (still free and very useful) This is a fantastic app! I'm using it in conjunction with making my own paper garden journal, but it has really made things significantly easier for me to document the information I need to go from sowing the seed all the way to preserving and eating what I grow!

I DENIED access to my location when I first opened this app. It's my personal choice. If your app needs my location to function in a way that I find useful, I can change the setting. App overrides denial and location is accessed from my GPS (which is OFF). Privacy and control over my own device is a major priority. I will not use apps that disregard my choices. Uninstalled immediately. Don't need an app for frost dates, and it accesses an inferior weather station anyway. There's no journal.
