Awsome, fun, led blinky and shiny lamp with notifications Its a great product, artistic wise, and the notifications are pretty user friendly to setup.. A quick on/off widget would be nice, even though it appears as notifications.. To the person asking about first gen N7.... a lot of android devices do not handle BLE... You can have a BT compatible device that doesn't do BLE... Though it be interesting to drive the light from the audio output of the device used to control it... (play spotify and have the light react to it).. Im pretty sure the device is reacting to its own microphone, not the phones audio... at least this lamp does some color correction (orange is a problem color for RGB led devices) even cooler if there was actually a way to change the color temp and profiles themselves of the LED array.. know they were also working on some Pi goodness.. and might use my Pi a a BLE to WIFI bridge..IFTTT anyone?

Easy to use and fun Love my Ion. The app makes it that much more awesome. I love having it change colors when I get a notification! There's one really key feature missing, though: the ability to set the lamp to fade slowly on/off at a certain time, like a light alarm clock. Also, it would be fantastic if I could put the notifications on repeat - say, once a minute or two - until the notification in question is cleared. Overall, though, excellent app.

Wish I could buy more Ion, with WiFi would be even better Awesome, any way to have multiple favorites for the same mood? Say bright light and dim light or white light and red light, also needs some widgets and tasker plugin sometime

Abandoned and sometimes buggy app for an amazing lamp. Wish the creators would release the source code so we could make our own settings. For the app itself, sometimes a paired lamp will be recognized but unable to connect. Annoying.
