Description
Ion Assist, allows in field engineers, installers and drivers, to live video stream into their control tower/ operations center. It gives the central point of contact the opportunity to see what is happening on site, at a delivery and provide recommendations and fixes, which might otherwise resulted in an aborted delivery of installation.
The product combines several key features, that enhance the infield in operations relationship.
Pro translation - Enabling users to converse via message in their chosen languages, for example Romanian to English to Romanian.
GPS Logging - Recording user locations in conjunction to conversations
Wide lens - enabling full screen display, to enhance detail or give a wider picture
Multi user licences - allowing multiple operations staff to field engineer calls
One touch login - All a user needs to do if press one button and the process begins, very simple, very easy adoption and minimizes user resistance
Through a considerable amount of user test cases, we have found that the number of failed or aborted deliveries and installations, has been significantly reduce and in some cases completely eradicated, through the use of Ion Assist. The ability to see what an in field engineer see, being able to guide a drive on site, means that not only does failure reduce, but the users confidence in engaging with their office bound counterparts enhances.
The increased team work also means that the balance of skills changes, instead of up-skilling the in field resource through expensive and time sapping training, more can be done in field. Also the best resource can be based in the operations center and can be used to up-skill the infield resource directly and on a problem by problem basis, this keep knowledge fresher and reduces the reliance on infield resource.
