IR Universal Remote for TV

IMPORTANT: This app uses your phone's built-in infrared (IR) blaster to control your TV. It does NOT work over WiFi and does NOT need an internet connection. Before installing, check that your phone has an IR blaster - most Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones have one; most Samsung, Huawei, Oppo and iPhone models do not. Look under Settings, or search "[your phone model] IR blaster" to check first.

If your phone has IR, this app turns it into a real universal remote control - even for TVs that are switched off, TVs with no WiFi, and old TVs in hotels, gyms or rentals where a WiFi remote app is useless.

Some brands have more than one code set (for example LG and LG 2) because different TV models from the same brand respond to different remote signals. If the first set doesn't work, just try the next one listed for your brand.

Not currently supported: Toshiba, Panasonic, Sharp, Philips and Haier TVs.

HOW TO CHECK IF YOUR PHONE SUPPORTS IT
Open your phone's Settings and search "IR blaster" or "infrared", or search online for "[your phone model] IR blaster". If your phone doesn't have one, this app - and any other IR remote app - cannot send signals to your TV. The app shows a clear warning if no IR sensor is found, but checking first saves you a wasted install.
