Description

iRisk è un’App pensata per fornire una stima del rischio di sviluppare un tumore pancreatico, sulla base della familiarità e/o della predisposizione genetica. Una semplice interfaccia condurrà il soggetto fino al termine del test e verrà stimato il grado di rischio (basso o alto) di tumore del pancreas. L’App è stata creata dalla task force del Registro Italiano Famiglie a Rischio di Cancro del Pancreas (IRFARPC), promosso dall’Associazione Italiana per lo Studio del Pancreas (AISP), i cui primi risultati sono già stati pubblicati (Paiella S, et al. Am J Gastroenterology, 2019).
L'App è rivolta ai familiari dei Pazienti affetti da tumore Pancreatico, ma anche a medici specialisti (gastroenterologi, chirurghi, internisti, oncologi, endoscopisti, genetisti), e soprattutto ai medici di base che ritengano di volerla utilizzare per stimare il rischio di soggetti reputati a rischio.

Per i soggetti ad alto rischio è consigliabile contattare via mail l’AISP per avere informazioni circa i Centri che aderiscono al progetto di sorveglianza del registro IRFARPC. L'utilizzo della App va considerato un ausilio e non sostituisce in alcun modo una valutazione medica specialistica.
