The App is a disgrace compared to the hardware. Hardware works pretty well. App is painfully slow, room boundaries are hard to set accurately, and the vac tends to wander over the boundaries. Simple things are just not there such as the ability to manually sort the rooms list. The app regularly falls over with "something went wrong" I had hoped that these things would be fixed, but a year later, still waiting. Come on iRobot, raise your app quality to match your Hardware. Thanks

Absolute garbage, I'm returning my second roomba J9+ within 3 days of getting the first one. The firmware is faulty and if you read the reviews you'll see it has been for almost a year now without Irobot doing anything to fix it. I will never recommend Irobot to anyone ever again, you will be incredibly disappointed in the quality of this product. The app is shameful, how can the base station just disappear after being installed and operating with the roomba for 2 hours? Very bad programming!

This app rarely gets past the initial loading screen. When it does, the product health rarely is populated with information. I don't often use the app due to this. I primarily use the Roomba sans app and just run it with the button on the vacuum and when I want it to stop, I chase it down, hit the button and then carry it to the home base.

When the bin is full and the robot can't find its way home, you can't use the base station to empty the trash can. Forces you to wait to save smart map before you can use the bin empty function. This can take 5 min or more when you just want to empty and carry on cleaning.
